My Name is Verity Mockford and I am absolutely obsessed with dogs! Since a young age my passion has happily taken over my life!

When I finally decided to pursue a career in dogs, I was 14 years old and start work experience at the Sussex Canine Centre where I became an under study in grooming and behaviour. This then lead to working in kennels, rescue centres, doggy day cares, dog grooming salons and so on, which gave me the taste of the business I would like to own, run and teach, this is when I discovered Plumpton college.

I was at Plumpton college for 5 years, enrolling on all the animal care course they could offer me.

I can't talk about my career with out a mention of my own pooch Winnie!

She is my first ever dog and is such a character when we are on our own. I have learnt so much from bringing her up. I can't imagine my career being where it is now without her help!
